This installation is a 2.4-meter-tall resin obelisk filled with objects left behind by train passengers, each encapsulating a story of transience and human connection. Designed for the Union Station group exhibit at DesignTO 2025, the piece reflects the fleeting nature of travel while transforming forgotten items into a permanent, reflective monument. The obelisk’s transparency and subtle color tint interact dynamically with light, creating an evolving visual experience that invites viewers to pause and reflect amidst the rush of urban life.
